What is NAREDCO

Established in the year 1998, NAREDCO is an apex National level autonomous and self-regulatory body, playing a proactive role in India’s real estate development process. Created to develop and professionalise the Indian Housing & real estate sector, NAREDCO works for all spheres of enterprises engaged in various aspects of real estate development. These include land development, real estate finance & marketing, layout planning, construction of residential, commercial and institutional buildings/complexes, development of townships, provision of urban infrastructure (roads, electricity, drainage, sewerage, water supply) and social infrastructure (recreational, educational and medical). The other allied fields include architecture, town planning, supply of building materials, estate finance, insurance, marketing and brokerage.

The National Real Estate Development Council strives to be the collective force influencing and shaping the real estate industry. It seeks to be the leading advocate of developing standards for efficient, effective, and ethical real estate business practices, valued by all stakeholders of real estate sector and viewed by them as crucial to their success. NAREDCO works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of real estate industry in India, partnering industry and government alike through advisory and consultative processes.
