National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) is organizing a National Conference on “Affordable Housing for All” on 21st & 22nd April 2008 as part of its 8th National Convention.  Government, Public and Private Sectors, forming an integral part of this apex body, have been invited to present the housing and construction scenario in different parts of the country. Aimed at defining the road map for administrative, legal, fiscal and commercial reforms and suggesting changes in monetary and credit policies in Indian Context for the development of housing and real estate sector, the conference with the theme “Affordable Housing for All” becomes important to realize the objectives of National and State Urban Housing and Habitat Policies.

The conference will be inaugurated by Kumari Selja, the Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Government of India in her capacity as Chief Patron of the Council. Chief Ministers of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttrakhand, UP, MP and Chattishgarh will be invited to address the conference as Guests of Honour.  The Hon’ble Ministers of Housing and Urban Development and concerned Secretaries from States will address participants in special sessions concerning their States.  Eminent speakers from various disciplines of real estate business, from across the country, will be speakers in different sessions.
